The Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police has imposed crowd free night (CFN) at nine points as a measure to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in Jakarta.

“We have implemented the crowd free night for a long time. Usually, Saturday night and Sunday night was only in Sudirman-Thamrin. Starting last night, we held it at nine points and through every night,” said Traffic Directorate at the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo at Jakarta City Hall on Monday 7th February.

Initially, the implementation of crowd free nights was only implemented at four points, namely Sudirman-Thamrin, Gunawarman-Senopati-Suryo, Kemang, and SCBD.

Furthermore, joint officers from the National Army and Police plus the Municipal Police will be deployed during the CFN implementation.

Here are the nine CFN points in Jakarta:

  3. Jalan Gunawarman-Senopati-Suryo
  4. SCBD area
  5. Monas area up to seluruh Medan Merdeka
  6. Kota Tua area
  7. Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area
