You can jog around GBK’s main stadium and on the specially designed, flat running tracks. It gets crowded on Fridays and weekend evenings, but seeing other people’s enthusiasm will absolutely motivate you. However, the Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, has recently ordered the street vendors to only sell their goods in designated zones – mainly away from Bundaran HI – in order for joggers, runners, and cyclists who wish to spend their Sunday mornings to have a pleasant morning workout between 6-11am.
