After a month filled with authentic German delicacies, a surreal amount of beer, and fun games, Pizza e Birra ended OKTOBERFEST E BIRRA 2017 with a BANG! On 14 and 15 October 2017, Pizza e Birra successfully held their biggest event of the year: PIZZA E BIRRA OKTOBEERFEAST: Jakarta’s Annual Beer, Music and Food Festival, marking 2,635 visitors over the two-day festivity.
The Piazza at Gandaria City Mall became the witness of 7,000 glasses of beer being consumed and 540 bottles of special German beer were also consumed by the VIP ticket holders, alongside with amazing live performances from the best of local indie bands. Day One was rocked by Marsh Kids, L’Alphalpha, Neurotic, Pijar, Agrikulture, The Brandals, and finally Maliq N D’Essentials. Day 2 got the best sounds from The Melodrama, Dried Cassava, Teddy Adhitya, Rumahsakit, Stars and Rabbit, Rock N Roll Mafia feat. Ykha Amelz, and closed by The SIGIT.
Not only were there live music performances, visitors also enjoyed authentic German delicacies such as Giant Pizza Slice with special Oktoberfest flavour: Wurst Kartoffel and Sausage & Roasted Potatoes.
Various fun games with sway-worthy prizes were available, such as Beer Drinking Competition, Beercules Game, Giant Pizza Eating Competition, Giant Beer Pong, High Striker, and Darts Balloon Game. Pizza e Birra also distributed door prizes: 2 (two) smartphones and 2 (two) return flight tickets to Germany for their lucky visitors!
The final round of Pizza e Birra Beer Pong Tournament Session XVI was held during the event. First place winner was Hundo and the runner-up was Bawal Speleng, winning total prizes of IDR 75 million!
