Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta Brings Back Oktoberfest with Authentic Bavarian Flair

From the 27th of September to the 6th of October 2024, Jakarta’s iconic hotel is set to host a lively Oktoberfest event, featuring traditional Bavarian cuisine, live performances, and an abundance of freshly brewed beer.

The vibrant spirit of Oktoberfest returns to Jakarta as Paulaner Bräuhaus Jakarta, a renowned venue at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, once again presents the Oktoberfest celebration. Running from the 27th of September to the 6th of October 2024, the event promises an exhilarating fusion of authentic Bavarian culture, specially crafted beer, and festive live music that captures the essence of Munich’s famed festival.

This year’s celebration promises to be even bigger and more vibrant than ever. “We are thrilled to welcome our guests to this year’s Oktoberfest, which we have tailored to be even more immersive and authentic,” said Naci Kusadali, Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverages at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta. “We have worked hard to bring a slice of Bavaria to Jakarta, offering an experience that is both traditional and memorable.”

The festivities begin with the traditional Anstich ceremony, where General Manager Harald Fitzek will tap the first keg of the exclusive Oktoberfest Bier. Sourced directly from Munich, this brew embodies the rich heritage and flavour of Bavarian beer culture, offering guests an authentic taste.

Adding to the lively atmosphere is the return of Edelweis Power, an Austrian band flown in specially for the occasion. Their spirited performances of classic Oktoberfest tunes and traditional Bavarian music will create an energetic and unforgettable ambience every night.

In addition to the music, guests will enjoy a wide range of delicious Oktoberfest fare, including Wurst sausages, freshly baked pretzels, cold cuts, and the ever-popular pork knuckles. Tickets start at Rp900,000++ per person, which includes the Oktoberfest feast, free-flowing Paulaner beer, live entertainment, and souvenirs.

“We are committed to bringing the magic of Oktoberfest to our guests in Jakarta,” said General Manager Harald Fitzek. “From the specially brewed beer to the lively performances, every aspect has been carefully curated to provide a true Bavarian experience. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this festive tradition.”
