The SIS Group of Schools is proud to announce the launch of the first secondary school level with an international standard in North Banten.

This milestone for SIS Cilegon reflects its commitment to providing high-quality international education that prepares students to meet global challenges.

As part of the SIS group renowned for delivering world-class education, SIS Cilegon Secondary program offers an international curriculum based on Cambridge standards. This curriculum is celebrated for its holistic approach, emphasizing critical thinking, analytical skills, and academic excellence tailored to meet the demands of the modern world. Additionally, the Cambridge curriculum prepares students for international examinations, unlocking opportunities for higher studies and global careers.

“SIS Cilegon is the only school in the North Banten region officially recognized as a Collaboration Education Unit (SPK) by Indonesia’s Ministry of Education. This status reinforces SIS Cilegon’s position as a legitimate international school that integrates an international curriculum with the core values of Indonesia’s national education system,” said Director of Marketing SIS Group of Schools, Indra Erwin. This ensures that students receive a well-balanced education that instils local values while fostering a global perspective.

A Future-Oriented Vision for Education

The Middle School (Secondary Level) launch reflects SIS’s mission to nurture future generations with global insights, 21st-century skills, and strong character. Combining the Cambridge curriculum with state-of-the-art facilities, SIS Cilegon is dedicated to shaping confident and competent students ready to tackle global challenges.

Modern Facilities to Support Learning

SIS Cilegon is currently undergoing a phased development, with Phase 2 focused on constructing the Middle School building as its top priority. The building is slated for completion by June 2025, in time for the new academic year beginning in July 2025/2026.

In addition to the building, several innovative and modern facilities will enhance the student learning experience, including:

  • Research Hub: A computer lab designed for exploring technology and developing digital literacy.
  • Modern Library: Designed to enrich students’ knowledge and create a conducive learning environment.

“Up until now, many students from Banten and Serang had to travel long distances, even outside the area, to access international education. With the launch of the Middle School at SIS Cilegon, we provide a real solution, bringing high-quality international education closer to home,” said Fidya Haryana, a SIS Cilegon’s Management Representative.
