From the 28th to the 29th of January 2025, Lion X presents “The Tales of the Snake” promotion, featuring two special set menus and à la carte options crafted exclusively to symbolise prosperity and good fortune. Under the expertise of Chef Alex Kuan, this culinary journey highlights the richness and diversity of Chinese cuisine through an array of meticulously prepared festive dishes.

The set menu begins with a premium salmon Yee Shang with smoked duck and crunchy golden rice, symbolising prosperity and togetherness. This is followed by a luxurious Braised Fish Lip with assorted seafood in deep sea fish bone soup, harmonising delicate seafood flavours in a rich and nourishing broth.

Next, indulge in Wok-fried Tiger Prawns with Butter Golden Sand, where succulent prawns are wok-fried to golden perfection and coated in a buttery blend. Adding a tangy twist, the Deep-fried Snapper Fillet with Assam Curry Sauce offers crispy textures paired with aromatic, spiced curry.

The centrepiece is the Braised 8 Treasure Roasted Chicken with Leek in Cantonese Style, a tender and flavourful dish infused with the essence of traditional Cantonese cooking. For spice enthusiasts, the Wok-fried Beef Fillet with Scallion in Szechuan Malak Sauce delivers bold and vibrant flavours.

The menu also features Wok-fried Glutinous Rice with Assorted Chinese Sausage, Honey Barbecue Pork, and Vegetables served in a clay pot—a fragrant medley of savoury ingredients steeped in authenticity.

To round off the experience, enjoy the heartwarming Double-Boiled 8 Treasure Soup with Teow Chew flavour, followed by the exquisite Sweet Potato “Nian Gao” in Snow Icing Sugar, a delicately sweet dessert combining the natural richness of sweet potato with a dusting of snow-like icing sugar.
