Jakarta Fair Kemayoran Attracted Four Million Visitors by 19th June

Jakarta Fair 2019

The Jakarta Fair Kemayoran, which is held annually by PT. JI Expo to commemorate Jakarta’s anniversary, has received about 4 million visitors this year since its opening from 22nd May until 19th June.

The exhibition features 2,700 brands along with 1,500 exhibition stands.

“My prediction is that it’s passed the four million mark and that is considerably high,” marketing director of PT. JIExpo, Ralph Scheunemann said.

Scheunemann commented that the number of visitors this year has slightly increased as compared to last year. He attributed the friendly weather for boosting the visitors’ shopping mood. The affordable entrance fees from Monday to Thursday had also managed to attract a lot of people.

Scheunemann aims for the exhibition to have at least 6 million visitors before it shuts its doors, and expects business transactions of up to Rp7.5 billion within the remaining 11 days.

This year, the Jakarta fair runs from 22nd May to 30th June 2019 at Kemayoran’s JI Expo. The entrance fees are set at Rp25,000 per person on Monday, Rp30,000 per person from Tuesday-Thursday and Rp40,000 per person from Friday to Sunday.
