ARYADUTA proudly presents Asta Karya 2025, now in its third year.

Taking place from September to November 2025, this year’s theme is #ARYADUTABercerita – a tribute to Indonesia’s stories and legends we grew up with, reimagined through the signature ARYADUTA stay experience.

“Asta Karya has always been ARYADUTA’s way of bringing Indonesian culture closer to our guests in a manner that feels authentic, creative, and alive,” said Arthur Situmeang, Group Director of Marketing and Communications, ARYADUTA Hotels. “This year, through the theme #ARYADUTABercerita, we highlight the beauty of storytelling traditions and connect them with today’s holiday experiences that are both meaningful and relevant.”

Across all ARYADUTA properties, guests will be invited to explore creative interpretations of local legends unique to each destination. These stories will be brought to life through multi-sensory experiences, ranging from the “Legend Menu” (culinary creations inspired by folklore) and themed activities for both adults and children, to exclusive amenities that allow guests to enjoy the stories in ARYADUTA’s signature tangible way.

As part of Asta Karya, families booking the Family Room at Aryaduta Bali will enjoy amenities designed to inspire togetherness. Each room will feature a folklore storytelling corner and Barong mask merchandise for children to play with and take home as a keepsake of their stay, creating memorable moments that blend culture with family fun.

The culinary team at ARYADUTA Bali will extend this cultural journey to the dining table by bringing the legend of Barong to life with specially crafted food and beverage promotions. Guests are invited to indulge in Ayam Kedewatan, Outside Skirt Mepanggang, the Dewi Dewata Cocktail, and the Golden Island Cocktail. The cocktails will be presented with a lively tableside performance to enhance the experience and add a touch of theatrical flair.

Innovation also plays a key role in Asta Karya. In collaboration with AYENA Studio, ARYADUTA Bali will introduce augmented reality cards in guest rooms that bring digital storytelling to life. Guests can embark on a playful treasure hunt to find the Super Neli character hidden throughout the property – from the lobby to unexpected corners – adding an exciting twist to their stay.

The celebration will culminate on Friday, the 24th of October 2025, with an art exhibition featuring the work of Agus Kurniawan, a talented artist and proud member of the ARYADUTA Bali team. The exhibition will be open to the public from the 24th of October to the 24th of November 2025. Each piece will be available for purchase, with 10% of proceeds donated to the Peduli Kemanusiaan Foundation. In addition, a special collaboration will be presented: a masterpiece jointly created by Agus Kurniawan and Yayasan Peduli Kemanusiaan. This unique piece will be displayed during the exhibition and made available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds donated directly to the foundation.

Throughout his career, Agus Kurniawan has earned more than 20 accolades from various competitions, with three achievements standing out as his proudest. He received a commemorative prize at the 24th Harbin International Snow Sculpture Competition in China (10th – 13th of January 2019) and again at the 27th edition (6th – 9th of January 2025). Most recently, he was awarded the Individual Practical Fruits & Vegetables Carving Award at the Indonesian Culinary Challenge during the FBI–ICA Chef Expo 2025, held from the 7th of May to the 10th of May at JIEXPO Kemayoran in Jakarta.

All Asta Karya promotions will run until the 30th of November 2025, inviting guests to celebrate heritage, creativity, and togetherness at ARYADUTA Bali.

“Asta Karya is more than just an exhibition; it is a platform to celebrate creativity and cultural heritage. We are honoured to showcase the extraordinary talent of Agus Kurniawan. We hope he will inspire visitors and our entire team to pursue their passions,” said RM Rendy Prapanca, General Manager of ARYADUTA Bali.

ARYADUTA invites families across Indonesia to experience the joy of staying in a family-friendly hotel where both children and parents can relax, play, and bond.
