Festival Merah Putih at the Outdoor Pool Garden of The Dharmawangsa Jakarta

In celebration Indonesia’s 74th anniversary, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta, in collaboration with Bimasena Private Club, presented a special family celebration, Festival Merah Putih on 24th August 2019, at the outdoor pool garden.

The event featured an variety of authentic local street food from siomay, mie ayam bakso, sate ayam, aartabak to a unique angringan style dishes such as roti and pisang bakar.

In addition, there was an Indonesian gulali to complete this fun celebration day. The programme was presented in the form of food and beverage stalls and priced at Rp395.000 net per person including food from six stalls. The guests could also choose from a selection of food stalls at Rp95.000 net/person.

An attractive folk game enlivened and enhanced the event, with games such as balap karung, lomba makan kerupuk, tarik tambang, and more, which were priced at Rp95.000 per game including goodie bag for the children. This programme was a great package for the family to spend their weekend surrounded in the leafy atmosphere in the lush garden. Concluding the fun activities, an acoustic band accompanied proceedings throughout the day. The Dharmawangsa also supported a non-profit organisation, Yayasan Wisma Cheshire, as part of their charity programme.
