Carpenter’s Bakehouse

A classy pastry restaurant has recently graced the city: Carpenter’s Bakehouse. With a tagline “Taste the Gold Standard”, this French bakehouse, owned by former Michelin-starred pastry chef Chef Alex, uses ingredients that are 100% artisanal French butter with no added sugar, making the aroma even more delicious and inviting. The texture of the pastries, hence, is flaky, airy, delicate and incredibly comforting. Croissant varieties here include almond croissants, butter croissants, smoked beef and cheese, pain au chocolat, gallette de rois and a warming cappuccino to complement the diner’s pastry delights.

That’s the unique experience offered by Uma Oma Cafe, an inspiring cafe that empowers seniors to continue working. Following the success of its first outlet in Blok M, Uma Oma now offers a new concept called Uma Oma Heritage in the Menteng area of South Jakarta.
