A Two-Michelin-Star Weekend at Li Feng

A Two-Michelin-Star Weekend at Li Feng
Chef Fei

Li Feng at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, is pleased to announce the return of Chef Fei, the culinary master behind the two-Michelin-starred Jiang by Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou, for an exclusive modern Cantonese dining experience on 27 and 28 June 2026.

The showcase will be presented through a signature set menu priced at IDR 1,888,000++ per guest, alongside a curated selection of à la carte creations.

This year’s showcase also marks a partnership with Kaviari, one of the world’s foremost caviar houses. Chef Fei’s selection of dim sum and appetisers is elevated with Kaviari’s prized baerii caviar, with dishes such as chilled crab meat jelly, tofu tart, and crispy seafood bean curd roll reflecting a harmonious balance between Cantonese tradition and contemporary expression.

Further highlights include braised fish maw soup with coral grouper, one of the great delicacies of the Cantonese table; wok-fried lobster with garlic king soy sauce; and wild honey-glazed black pepper beef short ribs prepared char siu-style — Chef Fei’s signature interpretation of a beloved Cantonese classic with depth and finesse.

Stir-fried rice with ‘Stockyard Gold’ wagyu MB 6/7 beef striploin and caviar stands among the defining dishes of the experience, bringing together aged Chaozhou pickled radish, wagyu, and caviar in a composition that is balanced, elegant, and distinctly modern Cantonese.

Recognised as one of the leading Cantonese chefs of his generation, Chef Fei earned his first Michelin Star in 2018 before becoming the first chef in Guangzhou to receive two Michelin Stars in 2019. He began his culinary career at the age of 16, refining his craft through years of discipline, precision, and respect for ingredients.

Across both days, Chef Fei will personally present the experience during lunch and dinner services at Li Feng, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience his contemporary interpretation of Cantonese cuisine firsthand.

Reservations are available with limited seating. For enquiries and table reservations, please contact Li Feng at +62 21 2993 8888, via Instagram at @mo_jakarta, or visit Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta Dining Page. More information can be found in the e-booklet.
