Founded in 1969 by Anton Massel, the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) has grown to become one of the largest competitions of its kind in the world. It features participants from over 90 countries, and there were 250 specialist judges from all over the world. Many are Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, some are winemakers or distillers, and others are trade specialists, each judging in their special field.
“Each wine was carefully evaluated through blind tastings, ensuring that only the finest products were awarded. Winning bronze medals in such a competitive arena is a testament to Sababay Winery’s commitment to quality and innovation,” said Guillaume Queron, Head Winemaker.
As Sababay Winery celebrates this achievement, it looks forward to further enhancing and expanding in wider markets. With this bronze medal, Sababay Winery continues to build its reputation as a leader in the Indonesian wine industry.
