From Luca’s Key Ingredients TV Show: Stories, flavours and traditions from the heart of Italian cooking.
Jimbaran, October 2026 — This October, Bella Cucina at InterContinental Bali Resort welcomes Italian-born chef and television personality Luca Ciano for four days of culinary experiences celebrating the flavours, memories and traditions at the heart of Italian cuisine.
Taking place from 4 to 9 October 2026, the programme brings Chef Luca’s distinctive approach to Italian cooking to Jimbaran, from a leisurely Sunday brunch and an intimate degustation dinner to a six-course wine-pairing experience and a hands-on cooking class for young chefs.
Born in Milan and now based in Sydney, Chef Luca Ciano has built his career around a deep connection to Italian food and culture. Known for his television series Luca’s Key Ingredients, as well as his handmade pastas and Italian sauces, Luca draws inspiration from his childhood food and recipes passed down through generations. At Bella Cucina, these traditions find a new setting by the shores of Jimbaran Bay, bringing the warmth and character of Italy to Bali.

“Italian cuisine is about more than recipes. It is about memories, ingredients, passion and the people we share it with. My Italian heritage and my mama’s cooking are still my greatest sources of inspiration. Chef Luca Ciano
Italy and Bali may be worlds apart, yet their approach to food shares a beautiful common thread: respect for ingredients, a love of tradition and the simple pleasure of gathering around the table.
At Bella Cucina, these two sensibilities come together on the shores of Jimbaran Bay. Set against Bali’s tropical landscape, Chef Luca Ciano interprets the flavours and stories of Italian cuisine through a contemporary lens, creating a culinary experience rooted in heritage while feeling distinctly of the moment.
