This September, InterContinental Bali Resort invites guests to raise a glass to one of Italy’s most celebrated cocktail icons with Negroni Month, an elegant exploration of the classic aperitivo through a collection of distinctive creations inspired by the spirit of Bali and the character of Jimbaran.
At the heart of the celebration is the Negroni, renowned for its timeless balance of bitter, sweet and botanical notes. At Bella Cucina and Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, this Italian classic is reimagined through a collection of contemporary interpretations, offering a journey from tradition to tropical inspiration.
The selection begins with the Classic Negroni, honouring the enduring character of the Italian original. For a more distinctive expression, guests can discover the Coconut Coffee Negroni, where tropical coconut meets rich, aromatic coffee. The Sunset Negroni draws inspiration from the warm golden hues of Jimbaran’s famed sunsets, bringing together palm sugar, pandan cordial and a touch of saline for a refined balance of sweetness and savoury depth. The Bali Negroni offers an island-inspired interpretation, featuring sweet vermouth infused with brem, Bali’s traditional rice wine, adding a distinctive local character to the classic. Completing the collection is the Jimbaran Sbagliato, a refined and effervescent take on the Negroni tradition, combining sparkling wine with fresh calamansi for a lighter, vibrant expression of the beloved Italian aperitivo.
Signature Negroni creations are available from IDR 215,000++. For those wishing to explore the collection, guests may select any two Negroni creations from the menu and savour their perfect duo for IDR 400,000++.
