Prabowo Campaign Team: No Mass Protest, only Constitutional Appeal

Prabowo Campaign Team

Andre Rosiade, spokesman for the Prabowo-Sandiaga campaign team (BPN), has stated that the camp will not join any ‘people power’ movement to protest the alleged fraud in the 2019 presidential election.

He further explained that the team will pursue legal recourse instead of holding a demonstration.

“The BPN has no plans about people power aiming to intimidate election organisers. We will take all constitutional ways,” said Andre. Head of BPN, Djoko Santoso, will file a report to the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu). Andre further stressed that while the BPN has no intention to be involved with a demonstration or denounce the election organisers, the public is free to express their rights to protest against the system.
