Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta has been celebrating its 4th anniversary since its inception on 15th December 2015.
On anniversary, the Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta team wants to show their love and support to the environment and the local community by hold a 400-tree planting and a blood drive.
To mark this occasion and leave a legacy to the environment for the coming years, Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta team members have planted 400 trees at Dukuh village deforested land on Mt Agung, Karangasem, East Bali, on 6th December 2019. This event was assisted by a Non-Governmental Organisation, Conservation International Indonesia, and its youth team Youth Conservation International, and was also attended by the other Wyndham property in Bali, Wyndham Garden Kuta and Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali.
Anastasia Damayanti, General Manager at Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road, said, ”400 trees for 4 years is a great opportunity to bring our commitment to environment into reality.”
In line with this year’s philosophy of “Care 4 a Better Future”, and as a part of hotel’s anniversary celebrations, Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta in cooperation with Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bali, is also showing their support to the local community by having held a blood donation at Andakara Ballroom, Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta on 3rd December 2019. The event succeeded in collecting 45 units of blood.
Executive Assistant Manager of Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta, I Nengah Rumiandi said, “at Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta, we believe in the importance of making a positive contribution to the community, and not only limiting our activities and endeavours to reach excellence in the hospitality sector. From this point, we partnered with PMI to encourage our staff to donate and raise awareness on the benefit blood donation brings to our local community.”
The final celebration was the launch of Dukuh Village Corner at Ramada by Wyndham Bali Sunset Road Kuta Hotel on 15th December 2019. The Corner displayed and sold the entire product produced by the Dukuh Village, such as Gula Semut (brown sugar), cashews, honey, etc.
