SKYE has reopened its doors on Level 56 of Menara BCA, ushering in a new chapter for Jakarta’s first and most iconic rooftop destination.
Following a year of thoughtful refinement, SKYE returns with renewed clarity and character. For more than a decade, it has been a place to celebrate, reconnect, or simply pause above the city’s relentless pace. This reopening carries that same spirit forward—now with greater intention, warmth, and depth.
Designed by Willis Kusuma, one of Indonesia’s most respected architects, the refreshed interior embraces a sense of warm modernity. Natural textures, softened lines, brushed metals, and an understated colour palette echo Jakarta’s subtle transitions from day to dusk and into night.
The space flows seamlessly from a welcoming indoor dining area to an open-air terrace with sweeping city views. It also features two private rooms for intimate gatherings and two bars that harmonise with the overall design. The atmosphere feels distinctly more inclusive—less formal, more expressive, and centred on a genuine sense of belonging.

Sir Harry Orange-Fed Wagyu Steak
Sourced from Australian-bred cattle organically fed with locally grown grains and citrus pulp, this wagyu offers subtle sweetness, a buttery texture, and exceptional marbling. Rich in monounsaturated fats and antioxidants, the beef delivers a tender, melt-in-the-mouth experience, with a delicate citrus note and deep, lingering flavour.
Aburi Miyazaki Wagyu
One of the standout small plates, lightly torched to enhance its natural richness. The wagyu is wrapped in crispy potato with mushroom duxelles and truffle aioli, then finished with Avruga caviar. A simple yet considered bite—warm, balanced, and driven by premium ingredients.
Bone Marrow Escargot
A thoughtful and refined preparation, anchored by the use of Relais de Venise butter—a limited, artisan-produced ingredient from France. It forms the base that unites the richness of roasted bone marrow with the freshness of escargot.

Slow-braised to tenderness, the short ribs are layered with smoky chipotle, charred spring onion relish, and crispy beef brisket. Served alongside charred baby carrots and finished with a caramelised miso jus, the dish strikes a confident balance of bold flavours and textures.
Cappellini Vongole
A reflection of SKYE’s appreciation for honest, comforting dishes. White clams paired with angel hair pasta create a light, clean flavour profile—effortless, familiar, and quietly satisfying.
Bone Marrow Butter Pappardelle
A dish that best captures the patience and craftsmanship of SKYE’s kitchen. Bone marrow is cooked low and slow for 72 hours to deepen flavour without heaviness, then blended with house-made butter prepared in small batches. The result is a smooth, luxurious sauce that coats the fresh pappardelle without overwhelming it.

Given Lemon
A clean, zesty interpretation of a classic sour. Cheese liqueur adds gentle creaminess, lifted by bright lemon oleo and a focused acid blend. Smooth, citrus-forward, and refreshingly sharp.
Velvety Almond
A nut-driven sour with quiet indulgence. Scotch whisky brings warmth, balanced by almond yoghurt, while absinthe adds a clean aromatic lift. Albumen gives the cocktail its signature velvety texture, finishing refined and lingering.
Citrusy Nectar
A lively, fruit-forward sour built on baijiu. Orange honey shrub provides gentle sweetness with a citrus edge, pineapple adds a soft tropical note, and albumen creates a silky finish. Bright, refreshing, and well-balanced.

Inspired by flavours from around the world, this collection is spirit-forward yet approachable.
Cardamom Myth
A bold yet elegant cocktail driven by cardamom’s warmth. Shiraz gin adds depth and subtle tannins, balanced by dry vermouth. Bitter cardamom introduces aromatic heat, while agave softens the edges without compromising structure.
Coriander Spin
Light and easy-drinking with a botanical twist. Crème de cacao lends a soft cocoa note, lifted by fresh coriander and lemon oleo. Finished with soda, it remains clean, aromatic, and effortlessly refreshing.
SKYE also introduces Skye Ombré, a cocktail available exclusively during the sunset window—from the moment the sun touches the horizon until it disappears. This fleeting ritual honours the view that has defined SKYE since the beginning, celebrating moments made special by their impermanence.
For guests seeking non-alcoholic options, SKYE’s mocktails take an unexpected direction, using house-made pickles and sodas to create drinks that are bright, refreshing, and intentionally simple—crafted with the same care as the rest of the programme.
The Chamber
As a destination built around celebration, SKYE is the first in Jakarta to offer House Bubbles, serving a curated range of Prosecco and Champagne by the glass. The Chamber reflects the same philosophy guiding the kitchen: thoughtful curation over excess.
Housing around 300 bottles of wine and sparkling selections, the collection ranges from Rp900,000++ to rare and sought-after labels priced up to Rp99,000,000++. SKYE’s wine experts are on hand to guide guests, offer recommendations, and share the stories behind each bottle—adding a personal and memorable touch to the experience.

A Place for Connection, Celebration, and Discovery
SKYE also marks its return with the revival of its signature entertainment programme. Long a stage for both international and local talent, the lounge re-emerges with renewed energy. Curated collaborations between DJs and instrumental musicians create a soundscape that flows naturally from sunset into the city’s late-night rhythm.
Opening from 4 PM, the semi-outdoor and outdoor lounge once again brings nightlife and culture together in a way that feels effortless and alive.
