A Showcase of Park Hyatt Legacy
Following the success of previous events featuring two-time Michelin-starred Chef Syrco Bakker in May 2024 and World Champion Pastry Chef Otto Tay in August 2024, Park Hyatt Jakarta is excited to announce the return of Masters of Food and Wine 2024 – Four Days of Mastery. This unmissable event will bring together nine world-renowned food and beverage masters who will showcase their elite-level skills, continuing the proud tradition of culinary excellence for which Park Hyatt is famed.
“We’re excited to announce our second iteration of the Masters of Food and Wine event,” says Sebastian Krack, Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) – Food and Beverage at Park Hyatt Jakarta. “Our guests will have the opportunity to enjoy world-class dining experiences guided by nine masters from across the globe.”
This four-day culinary showcase kicks off on Thursday, October 10, in Salon 2 on Level 22 with the Henriot Champagne Masterclass. Guests can savour the exquisite taste and refinement of Henriot Champagne. Hosted by Morgane Rey, Champagne Master at Henriot Champagne, this inaugural event in the Masters calendar promises to be a fun and bubbly occasion.
Kick-start the weekend on Friday and Saturday, October 11 & 12, when Morgane Rey will also join us for an elegant Afternoon Tea, in collaboration with Park Hyatt Milan Pastry Chef Alessio Gallelli. Hosted in the Conservatory on Level 23 from 2:30 PM onwards, this delectable affair will whet your appetite. The culinary indulgence continues as the Dining Room on Level 22 presents an evening of Pizza and Beer, in collaboration with Pizza Acrobatics World Champion Chef Pasqualino Barbasso and Brew Master Pieter Prinsloo from IOI. Join us in the Dining Room from 6:00 PM on Friday.
Looking for an elegant drink with an international twist? Don’t miss our World-class Mixology session with Nikita Matveev, Master of Mixology at the award-winning bar, The Old Man Hong Kong, who will be shaking things up on Friday, October 11, at 8:00 PM in KITA Bar on Level 36. On Saturday, October 12, Pieter Prinsloo will host a fascinating Craft Beer Masterclass in The Bar on Level 23 at 6:00 PM.
On Saturday, October 12, at 6:00 PM, indulge in a Michelin-starred Dinner at KITA 喜多 Restaurant on Level 37. This exclusive dining experience will be hosted by Michelin-starred Chef Ivan Brehm from Nouri Singapore, alongside Wine Master Paul Knebel from Orin Swift. Alternatively, you can join two-time Michelin-starred Chef Syrco Bakker from Syrco Base at The Chef’s Table in the Dining Room on Level 22, also at 6:00 PM.
After dinner on Saturday, October 12, journey upstairs to KITA Bar on Level 36 for a showcase of World-Class Mixology with Simone Rossi, Master of Mixology and Founder of Ratafia Rossi, at 8:00 PM.
The icing on the cake of this incredible weekend will be the Masters Brunch on Sunday, October 13, when all the masters will come together for a lavish celebration of culinary excellence in the Dining Room from 11:30 AM onwards.
In addition to these headline events, Park Hyatt Jakarta will also host a programme of complementary Masterclass activities and exclusive promotions in collaboration with luxury brands Leica and Porsche. This will include an F&B Photography Masterclass on Friday, October 11, from 3:30 PM onwards, as well as a VIP chauffeur service using a Porsche Taycan and Porsche Panamera. This premier pick-up service will be available exclusively to our VIP guests on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13.
