Google Assistant Latest Updates Increase User Convenience

Google Assistant

Google Assistant has adopted the concepts of total assistance, security, thoroughness, and being user-friendly.

According to the Google Assistant Program and NBU Lead, Nimesh Ranjan, the Indonesian language for daily activities has been included by Google.

He gave a couple of examples of how Indonesians could use the service: ordering martabak via GoFood or checking their bank balance with BCA Bank.

By saying “pesan martabak dari GoJek” or “order martabak from GoJek”, Google Assistant will show up a list of martabak outlets nearby, as well as track the order.

Another subtle improvement in the assistant’s latest update is its privacy control feature that makes it easier for users to give simple commands. “The data gathered by Google is secure; the internet giant takes data privacy very seriously,” Nimesh said.

Google Assistant can now be told via verbal commands to erase recent activity within a certain timeframe.
