Padma Hotels, a proud Indonesian brand, boasts five properties across Indonesia: two in Bali, two in West Java, and the newest one in Central Java.
Each Padma Hotels destination offers far more than mere accommodation – it promises a distinctive holiday experience tailored for guests of all ages and is renowned for its family-friendly facilities. There is always something new to explore, from dining experiences, exciting events and activities, to upgraded facilities. Here are some of the highlights from the latest updates.
Having been around for over 30 years, Padma Hotels’ first property, Padma Resort Legian in Bali, continues to offer new and exciting experiences for its guests. Following the introduction of new activities such as paintball and a kid-friendly version called gel blaster, as well as the addition of a kitchen garden, a mushroom hut, and a mini farm, the resort has recently launched a flying trapeze activity guided by a professional team. Guests can swing and perform acrobatic manoeuvres with securely suspended ropes, offering a thrilling experience that will enhance their holiday fun. On the dining side, Donbiu Restaurant has introduced a new Asian Night buffet dinner, inspired by the vibrant hawker street stalls. This experience showcases the heroes of Asian and Peranakan cuisine, including favourites like assorted dim sum, takoyaki, Singaporean laksa, and the iconic sweet treat, martabak manis.
Nestled in a serene mountain retreat, Padma Resort Ubud revamped its menu at The Puhu Restaurant this month. The new menu features a delightful array of authentic Indonesian, Asian, and Indian cuisines, as well as Western favourites. Highlights include laksa udang, soto Betawi, lamb chop curry, and es campur gâteau for dessert. Guests are invited to indulge in these flavourful dishes while soaking in the breathtaking view of Payangan Bamboo Forest.
Already a favourite among domestic travellers as a family holiday destination, Padma Hotel Bandung is excited to reveal its newest facility: Wolly Kids Club. After the thrills of Adventure Park, where guests can enjoy activities like the flying fox, high ropes, and wall climbing, Wolly Kids Club offers indoor playtime comfort for children. Featuring a series of activities such as bracelet making, beauty classes, and origami classes, all supervised by attentive staff, it promises fun and engagement for kids of all ages. Complementing the family holiday experience, Padma Hotel Bandung also has a new dining programme: Gather and Feast. Embracing the traditional Indonesian way of “makan tengah” (shared dining), this programme provides various dishes for a party of four, offering a selection of local Sundanese, Nusantara favourites, and Asian cuisines. With the enchanting Ciumbuleuit hills setting the scene at The Restaurant, guests’ dining experiences will be truly unforgettable.
The latest gem in the Padma Hotels portfolio, Padma Hotel Semarang, continuously improves its facilities. After recently unveiling the lavish Presidential Suite, the hotel opened a waterpark facility featuring an additional swimming pool with waterslides, an outdoor area, and a tree house. The hotel recently hosted another successful Padma Wedding Expo in the Pandanaran Grand Ballroom, the largest hotel ballroom in Central Java, accommodating up to 4,000 guests. Seventy vendors from Semarang, Salatiga, Solo, Magelang, Surabaya, Jakarta, and Bali participated in the event, attracting over a thousand prospective brides and grooms as well as other guests. Next up, Padma Hotel Semarang will hold its second Padma Run Semarang 2024 to celebrate its anniversary. This running event has garnered high enthusiasm from running communities, pro runners, and hobbyists, with tickets selling quickly after registration opened. Padma Run Semarang 2024 will be held on the 15th of September 2024, and it is expected to be even bigger than last year.
