With over 24 years in Jakarta’s luxury hospitality industry, Lia has built a strong career across functions, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and more than two decades in Sales & Marketing with leading international hotel brands. She brings deep expertise in managing high-level corporate and government accounts, consistently driving commercial performance and guest satisfaction.
Lia’s career highlights include her role in the pre-opening team at The Grand Platinum and serving several heads of state during her tenures at Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, shaping her appreciation for service excellence at the highest level. Her experience also spans key leadership roles at The Park Lane Jakarta, Shangri-La Jakarta, and InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah, where she contributed to enhanced guest experiences and strong business results.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lia’s artistic background—studying Computer Graphic Design in Caracas, Venezuela—and her passion for painting and drawing bring a creative perspective to her approach. In her new role at Gran Meliá Jakarta, Lia is focused on accelerating revenue growth, strengthening sales culture, and delivering impactful marketing strategies that support sustainable business performance and memorable guest experiences. “Hospitality begins from the heart, followed by a commitment to deliver the best and create a meaningful impact,” Lia shares.
