Airport Management Confirms 'All Indonesia' Still Faces Obstacles

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport management has acknowledged that, as of now, the All Indonesia application still faces several obstacles in operating smoothly. Consequently, during this trial period, Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) continues to evaluate the application.

The President Director of Angkasa Pura Indonesia, Mohammad R. Pahlevi, stated that, as the airport management, his office continues to evaluate the implementation of the All Indonesia application.

“It’s true, there are still some obstacles here and there, and that’s normal,” he told the press on Wednesday, the 10th of September.

Pahlevi also recognised that passenger congestion occurred when All Indonesia was first introduced. Consequently, his office increased the number of computers (PCs) from four to six, which were immediately placed at key points.

“We’ve added more PCs, and we’re continuing to evaluate them. This trial isn’t just about the hardware, but also the software, and involves all relevant ministries and stakeholders,” he continued.

Despite recent obstacles, Pahlevi expressed hope for media support in educating the public that All Indonesia is a useful and efficient app. If successful, Indonesia would be the only country in the world to utilise a single application for international travel.

“Therefore, we need to promote [the All Indonesia application] intensively. That’s why we’re partnering with the media partners. I think this is a good thing for international passengers,” he also remarked.

The All Indonesia application is an integrated digital system owned by the Directorate General of Immigration that streamlines the international arrival process, replacing previously separate manual forms.

Since Monday, the 1st of September, all international travellers, whether Indonesian citizens or foreigners, arriving in Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, and Juanda International Airport in Surabaya have been required to complete an arrival card through the All Indonesia application.

Pahlevi stated that the initial implementation has only been carried out at the three airports with the highest number of international passengers in Indonesia. However, the system will be rolled out to all international airports in the future.

“The initial implementation of the All Indonesia application at our three airports is certainly an effective policy target, ahead of its implementation at all international airports in Indonesia,” he added.

To access this service, prospective international passengers simply need to visit the website https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/ or download and install the All Indonesia application via the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
