Bringing more than 13 years of international hospitality experience, Maximilien Provis joins Andaz Bali with a people-first approach to leadership.
Andaz Bali welcomes Maximilien Provis as its new Hotel Manager, bringing a people-first approach to leadership and a strong belief in creating meaningful connections between colleagues, guests and the destination.
For Maximilien, hospitality has always been about people. He believes that good leadership starts with integrity and empathy, creating an environment where people feel supported, understood and empowered to do their best.
“What drew me to Andaz Bali is that the hotel doesn’t simply sit in Bali; it encourages guests to become curious about the place, its people and its culture. I am very happy to become part of this village and to build on that together with the team,” said Maximilien Provis, Hotel Manager of Andaz Bali.
This people-focused approach is shaped by more than 13 years of international hospitality experience across hotel operations, Food & Beverage and pre-opening projects. Before joining Andaz Bali, Maximilien served as Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage at Park Hyatt Seoul. His career has also included leadership roles at The Langham Jakarta and Swissôtel Jakarta, providing him with experience across diverse markets and various areas of hotel operations.

Maximilien’s perspective is also shaped by his personal experience of living in 17 countries, which has allowed him to experience different cultures and ways of life first-hand. This complements his extensive professional experience in international hospitality.
“Part of my role is to create an environment where our colleagues can be at their best, because ultimately that is what our guests will feel. For me, hospitality has always been about people, and I believe that when our teams feel supported and connected to what they do, it naturally shapes the experience we create for our guests,” Maximilien added.
At Andaz Bali, Maximilien will oversee the resort’s overall operations, working closely with the team to build on its strong foundations and continue developing the guest experience. He will also champion experiences rooted in Balinese culture and the local community, while supporting the Villagers in delivering the informal, personal style of hospitality that defines the Andaz brand.
As he begins his new role, Maximilien looks forward to discovering more of Bali, working alongside the resort’s Villagers and contributing to the next chapter of Andaz Bali.
