From the Grand Ballroom to the open-air JimBARan Garden, a festive evening of authentic German flavours, free-flow beer and live entertainment awaits on the 25th of September 2026.

This September, AYANA Midplaza Jakarta brings the convivial spirit of Bavaria to the heart of the capital with an Oktoberfest celebration that extends from the Grand Ballroom into the open-air setting of JimBARan Garden. Taking place on Friday, 25th of September 2026, from 6.30 PM onwards, the one-night celebration brings together authentic German specialities, free-flow beer, lively entertainment and exciting door prizes, inviting guests to experience the festivities across both indoor and outdoor settings.
Offering a fresh interpretation of the much-loved German tradition, the evening is designed to flow seamlessly between the Grand Ballroom and the adjacent JimBARan Garden. While the Ballroom sets the stage for the main celebration and entertainment, the Garden brings an open-air dimension to the festivities, creating a relaxed setting where guests can gather, dine and raise their steins under the Jakarta evening sky.
At the heart of the celebration is a specially curated Oktoberfest feast, showcasing some of Germany’s best-loved comfort dishes. Guests can enjoy an assortment of German Wurst, including Bavarian Sausage, Thüringer Bratwurst and Cheese Krainer, alongside Wiesnhendl, or roasted chicken; Chicken Schnitzel with lemon; Spätzle with parsley and crispy onion; Bratkartoffeln, fried potatoes with onion; and Speckbohnen, string beans with butter and onion.
From the Ballroom to the Garden
Bringing the culinary experience outdoors, JimBARan Garden will host a dedicated live station, adding both theatre and freshly prepared flavours to the evening. Highlights include Crackling Pork Belly, served with parsley potato salad and applesauce, alongside Nürnberger Wurst, accompanied by sauerkraut, old-fashioned mustard and caramelised onion sauce.
The feast is complemented by traditional accompaniments including braised red cabbage with apple and spices, sauerkraut, German potato salad, cucumber salad and cabbage salad. A dedicated bread station offers Pumpernickel, sourdough, Bauernbrot, pretzels and Kaiser rolls, adding another familiar taste of German dining to the spread.
For a sweet finale, guests can make their way through a selection of European favourites including Apple Strudel, Kaiserschmarrn, Black Forest Cake and Berliner, alongside cheesecake.
And, of course, an Oktoberfest celebration calls for a proper toast. Free-flow Bali Hai beer will accompany the feast throughout the evening, with chilled juices and old-fashioned lemonade.
Beyond the culinary experience, lively entertainment will keep the festive spirit going throughout the evening. Guests will also have the opportunity to take home door prizes from AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, including dining experiences and stay vouchers, while every guest will receive a complimentary souvenir mug as a keepsake of the celebration.
