Sungai Watch
Founded in 2020 by Gary, Kelly, and Sam Bencheghib, Sungai Watch is an environmental organisation in Bali dedicated to stopping plastic pollution from entering the ocean. With a team of over 100 river warriors, Sungai Watch designs and installs trash barriers along Indonesia’s most polluted rivers. Their mission includes emergency cleanups at illegal dumps and riverbanks, along with promoting proper waste management practices locally. North Bali Reef Conservation
A coral reef restoration NGO based in Tianyar, Bali, aiming to restore the degraded reef ecosystem of Tianyar. Projects include constructing artificial reefs, setting up a turtle hatchling conservation area, organising beach cleanups, and managing a no-take marine protected area in collaboration with local fishermen.
