HighScope Indonesia Institute Officially Transforms: A New Chapter in Indonesian Educational Excellence

HighScope Indonesia Institute today officially announced its name change to Redea Institute, marking a new chapter in Indonesian education that combines local values with global opportunities.

This transformation is designed to bring a broader educational vision, prioritizing Indonesian work and contributions, while maintaining its commitment to the quality education it has been known for over two decades.

Antarina S. F. Amir, Founder and President Director of Redea Institute, stated that this name change is not merely rebranding, but a strategic step to expand access and opportunities for students in Indonesia. “We have evolved beyond what was previously supported by HighScope Indonesia Institute, and Redea Institute is here to provide greater benefits for students, families, and all stakeholders,” said Antarina at a press conference in Jakarta.

As part of this transformation, Redea Institute also announced strategic partnerships with two leading international educational institutions: the Center for Excellence (CFE) at New Tech High School (NTHS) in Napa-California, a program of Friends of New Tech (FONT), and PEN (Practice Enterprise Network) Worldwide. This collaboration will enable students to connect with a wider global network and access project-based learning methods and entrepreneurial experiences relevant to the world of work.

Aaron Eisberg, Director of the Center for Excellence at New Tech High School (NTHS), Napa, California, said, “The launch of Redea Institute has paved the way for a new partnership between New Tech High School and education in Indonesia. We are very excited to collaborate with Redea to build the next generation of leaders ready to face global challenges with 21st-century skills.”

Global Partnerships, Local Opportunities

New Tech High School (NTHS) Napa-California is known as a centre of innovation in project-based learning, focusing on developing 21st-century skills such as creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Meanwhile, PEN (Practice Enterprise Network) Worldwide offers a practical approach that prepares students for the real world through direct entrepreneurial experiences. This partnership enables Redea Institute to provide a globally connected educational experience while remaining grounded in local needs.

Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani, an Indonesian diplomat who has served in New York and Geneva, Switzerland, said, “I am very proud of the presence of Redea Institute. This shows that Indonesia is capable of providing global quality education that is not only recognized domestically but can also be a model for other countries. Redea Institute is concrete proof that Indonesia can compete on the international stage.

Choky Sitohang, a student’s parent, said, “As a parent, I believe in Ibu Antarina’s leadership because she always prioritizes the best interests of our children. The launch of Redea Institute is a big step that further strengthens her commitment to providing high-quality and character-based education for the next generation.
