Launching on Renaissance Day of Discovery 2026, the Evenings at Renaissance experience invites guests to discover destinations through local flavours, creative collaborations and neighbourhood stories, developed by award-winning bartender Demi Dana Paramita.
Renaissance Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of more than 30 extraordinary hotel brands, is set to unveil a reimagined chapter of Evenings at Renaissance across Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC), introducing a new collection of beverage rituals inspired by local ingredients, cultural traditions and creative collaborations. Developed with award-winning Indonesian bartender Demitria “Demi” Dana Paramita, the collection transforms familiar flavours and traditions into distinctive expressions of each destination’s character.
The collection will debut during Renaissance Day of Discovery 2026, the brand’s annual celebration of cultural curiosity and neighbourhood exploration. Taking place at participating Renaissance Hotels across APEC throughout October and November, this year’s theme, “Layers of Discovery”, invites guests to explore each destination through Navigator-led discoveries, encounters with local makers and immersive experiences that celebrate the neighbourhood’s creative spirit. The new beverage rituals add another layer to this exploration, drawing inspiration from local markets, botanicals and cultural traditions.
“At Renaissance Hotels, we believe the most memorable discoveries happen when guests connect with the character of a destination in unexpected ways,” said Cristiano Rinaldi, Chief Lodging Product & Services Officer, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International.
“The evolution of Evenings at Renaissance brings neighbourhood stories to life through the flavours and traditions that shape each destination. Demi’s ability to reinterpret familiar ingredients and cultural rituals through a contemporary lens reflects the spirit of Renaissance Hotels, creating new opportunities for guests to discover the neighbourhood and the people behind it.”
Discovering the Neighbourhood Through Flavour
Evenings at Renaissance celebrates the spirit of the neighbourhood after dark through immersive beverage rituals inspired by local culture.
Created in collaboration with Renaissance Hotels’ first Beverage Rituals Ambassador, Demitria “Demi” Dana Paramita, founder of HATS Bar Jakarta, the collection reimagines local ingredients through memorable rituals. Highlights include Blooming Flower, an interactive floral punch; The Night Market, inspired by vibrant evening markets; and Silk Road, a fragrant blend of tea, saffron and spices celebrating cultural connections.
At Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort, Renaissance Day of Discovery will take place from the 31st of October to the 1st of November, offering guests a series of immersive experiences inspired by local culture, creativity and connection.
The celebration begins on the 31st of October at 4 PM with an exclusive workshop at R Bar, where guests will craft accessories from recycled glass beads alongside Segi Jewelry. As the evening unfolds, guests will gather for Malam Gemintang, meaning “an evening under the stars”, a signature showcase celebrating Indonesia’s rich culture, creativity and craftsmanship.
Set against the resort’s vibrant atmosphere, Malam Gemintang will feature a curated selection of local artisans and brands, including Segi Jewelry, Saraswati Papers, Si.Rangkai and Neliyo Wear. Guests can discover handcrafted treasures, artisanal products and authentic culinary creations that reflect Indonesia’s diversity and heritage.
At the heart of the experience, The Punch Bowl will present signature cocktails inspired by the lively atmosphere of a local night market, thoughtfully crafted with Arak Bumbung, a traditional Balinese spirit that honours the island’s heritage and distinctive flavours.

The celebration will open with a captivating cultural performance featuring an abridged rendition of the Ramayana Ballet accompanied by a mini Kecak dance, blending timeless traditions with contemporary expression. The evening will culminate at the Jungle Pool with a fashion showcase by local designers Neli Gunawan and Yusi Hendrawati, highlighting innovative designs inspired by Indonesia’s rich artistic landscape. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, guests can enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening, including mesmerising fire dance performances and music curated by the resort’s resident DJ.
The journey continues on the 1st of November at 1 PM with lunch at Tanah Liat, the resort’s seafood restaurant, where a refreshed concept celebrates the richness of local ingredients and regional flavours. Following lunch, guests are invited to participate in a bookbinding and decoration workshop hosted by Saraswati Papers, a Bali-based studio renowned for crafting handmade paper from 100% recycled materials.
The weekend concludes at 5 PM with Blooming Flower, a special Punch Bowl experience at R Bar. Showcasing Nusa Caña, a premium Indonesian rum, this communal cocktail ritual invites guests to come together over a shared beverage experience, fostering meaningful connections while celebrating Indonesia’s vibrant flavours, craftsmanship and spirit of discovery.
