New agreement with PT Drupadi Management brings SONO Moon to Bali and strengthens SONO’s growing Indonesian portfolio.

SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia has signed a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with PT Drupadi Management for SONO Moon Bali Seminyak, a 225-room urban lifestyle hotel in the heart of one of Bali’s most established tourism destinations.

The agreement marks the introduction of the SONO Moon brand to Bali and represents another step in SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia’s continued expansion in Indonesia. The existing hotel will be repositioned under the SONO Moon brand, with its opening targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

Jihong An, Senior Vice President of SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia, said: “Indonesia is an important growth market for SONO, and Bali continues to be one of the region’s strongest international destinations.

With SONO Moon Bali Seminyak, we are bringing together a strong location, an established hotel asset and a brand that fits today’s travellers’ lifestyles and the way they experience destinations such as Seminyak. Our focus is not simply to increase the number of hotels, but to work with the right partners and the right properties where SONO’s brands, international network and wider ecosystem can create sustainable demand and long-term value for mutual growth.”

Located in central Seminyak, the hotel is within easy reach of the area’s beaches, restaurants, cafés and shops, providing a convenient base for guests to experience one of Bali’s most dynamic destinations.

With 225 rooms, SONO Moon Bali Seminyak will feature two swimming pools, a gym, a spa, a kids’ club, meeting facilities and an all-day dining venue. As part of the repositioning, selected existing spaces will be reimagined and enhanced with new lifestyle and commercial offerings, creating more opportunities for guests and visitors to connect, socialise and experience the destination.

We look forward to working with SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia to strengthen the property’s market position and create long-term value through this partnership.”
