The location where Mika Hasegawa ended up after jumping from 2nd floor of apartment

A Japanese tourist, named as Mika Hasegawa, jumped from 2nd floor of an apartment building in the Pemogan area of Denpasar on Monday 25th November 2019.

Chief of Regional Police of South Denpasar, Kompol Nyoman Wirajaya said that police are investigating the incident to get more information.

The Japanese tourist allegedly jumped because there was someone following her and so was desperately attempting to get away. “It is the only information we can share because the victim is still under medical treatment and cannot talk,” Wirajaya said.

As a consequence of the incident, the Japanese tourist is suffering from a broken neck. Most recent reports say that she is still in BIMC hospital, Badung.

“This situation means she is unable to talk; she must focus on treatment and is not available to meet,” Wirajaya added.

The case has been reported to Police of South Denpasar. Police have also received the CCTV records to understand the details of the incident.
