A visionary in the culinary arts, Chef Ahmad brings a wealth of international experience and a passion for creating memorable gastronomic experiences that celebrate simplicity, quality ingredients, and the natural essence of flavours.
With a career spanning Indonesia, the Middle East, and Europe, Chef Ahmad has honed his craft in prestigious hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants. His culinary philosophy is rooted in respect for ingredients: enhancing nature’s perfection through minimal intervention and clean, authentic flavours.
Before joining Sofitel Bali, Chef Ahmad led the kitchen at Sheraton Belitung Resort as Executive Chef and shaped innovative dining experiences at Bvlgari Resort Bali. His culinary journey has taken him across Europe and beyond, including leadership roles at Hanzo Restaurant in Copenhagen and the Michelin-starred Kiin Kiin Restaurant, where he sharpened his craft in both classic techniques and contemporary gastronomy.
