Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, by Hyatt, are pleased to announce the appointment of Ivan Gutierrez as Cluster Director of Food & Beverage and Chef Vincenzo Gatti as Cluster Executive Chef, marking an exciting new chapter for the resorts’ dining experiences.
Together, the two hospitality leaders bring decades of international experience across Hyatt properties in Asia, reinforcing Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali by Hyatt’s commitment to culinary excellence, service innovation, and memorable guest experiences.
Leading the Guest Experience
Joining from Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, where he most recently served as Director of Food & Beverage, Ivan Gutierrez brings extensive international experience in leading food and beverage operations across some of Hyatt’s flagship hotels.
His Hyatt journey has taken him to renowned destinations including Park Hyatt Tokyo, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Hyatt Regency Qingdao, as well as properties in Beijing and Koh Samui, where he has successfully led diverse dining concepts while strengthening service standards and guest engagement.
For Ivan, hospitality is first and foremost about people. Whether connecting with guests across the resorts’ restaurants and bars or supporting colleagues behind the scenes, he believes meaningful hospitality begins with genuine human connection.
His leadership philosophy centres on fostering a collaborative team culture, empowering colleagues, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest.
As he begins his journey in Bali, Ivan looks forward to working closely with the teams at Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, by Hyatt to further elevate the resorts’ food and beverage offerings while continuing to inspire a culture of service excellence.
Shaping the Culinary Direction
Joining the leadership team is Chef Vincenzo Gatti, who takes on the role of Cluster Executive Chef, bringing more than two decades of culinary experience and ten years with Hyatt.
His Hyatt journey began as Chef de Cuisine at Park Hyatt Guangzhou, followed by leadership positions as Executive Sous Chef at Grand Hyatt Seoul, Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, and most recently Executive Chef at Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach.
During his time in Pattaya, Chef Vincenzo led La Cucina Italian Restaurant and Fish Club Seafood Restaurant to recognition by the Michelin Guide. When the guide was first introduced to Pattaya in 2025, the two restaurants became the city’s only Western and hotel restaurants to receive this prestigious recognition.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, Chef Vincenzo is passionate about developing talent, encouraging creativity, and crafting memorable dining experiences rooted in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution.
