Embrace the Serenity of Nyepi with a “Serenity Escape” at Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort

Serenity Escape” at Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort

Ubud, Bali — As Bali prepares to welcome Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort invites guests to experience a meaningful retreat through its special “Serenity Escape” program. Rooted in reflection, stillness, and spiritual renewal, Nyepi offers a rare opportunity to pause from the pace of everyday life and reconnect with oneself.

Nyepi is a sacred day when the entire island comes to a complete standstill. Travel, loud activities, bright lights, and most public services are paused as the island collectively embraces silence and introspection. During this time, guests staying at GDAS Bali are encouraged to immerse themselves in the peaceful atmosphere while respecting the cultural traditions observed across Bali.

To complement the serene environment of Nyepi, GDAS Bali has curated a selection of mindful experiences designed to support relaxation, cultural discovery, and personal reflection.

Guests can begin the day with Vinyasa Flow (Power Vinyasa Flow) guided by Lisa from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, followed later in the afternoon by GDAS Deep Restore Yin Yoga from 3:30 to 4:30 PM, offering a calming practice to release tension and restore inner balance.

For those interested in exploring Balinese culture, guests can join a Capil Making Activity from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, where they will learn how to create the traditional woven bamboo hat that reflects Bali’s rich craftsmanship and heritage.

In the afternoon, guests may also experience the calming ritual of Herbal Tea Making from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, discovering the art of blending natural herbs in a soothing activity that complements the peaceful spirit of Nyepi.

The resort’s library offers a curated selection of books for a tranquil reading experience, while Arana Spa provides rejuvenating treatments designed to relax the body and mind. Guests may also take time for self-journaling, reflecting on thoughts and emotions in a peaceful setting that encourages mindfulness and introspection.

Nyepi also creates the perfect opportunity to embrace “me-time” — whether relaxing by the pool, strolling through the resort’s lush gardens, or enjoying the quiet comfort of a private balcony surrounded by nature.

Through the Serenity Escape experience, GDAS Bali offers guests a unique way to honour the spirit of Nyepi while reconnecting with balance, calm, and inner wellbeing.
