The Apurva Kempinski Bali proudly presents its first-ever Hot Pot Festival at the award-winning Bai Yun Restaurant, taking place throughout October 2025.
Perfectly timed to coincide with Golden Week and the Mid-Autumn Festival, this exclusive culinary celebration invites both international travellers and local residents to experience an exceptional hot pot journey that redefines luxury Asian dining in Bali.
The festival features a series of curated dining packages, each thoughtfully designed to suit different tastes and occasions:
-
Harmony Feast (IDR 628,000++) – Premium beef short rib, Black Angus sirloin, chicken, prawns, scallops and squid, offering the perfect introduction to refined hot pot dining.
-
Sea Feast (IDR 888,000++) – A tribute to the ocean, featuring bamboo lobster, red snapper, scallops, prawns, squid and artisanal dumplings.
-
Golden Feast (IDR 1,288,000++) – The pinnacle of indulgence, showcasing Kiwami tenderloin MB9+, Black Angus short rib, Miyazaki A5 striploin, lobster and fresh oysters.
-
Chef’s Signature (IDR 998,000++) – A complete dining experience including a selection of appetisers, authentic Cantonese barbecue, and premium meats and seafood.
At the heart of the festival are three new broths – Duck & Radish, Fish Collagen & Salted Vegetables and Chicken & Coriander – enhancing Bai Yun’s renowned soup repertoire. Making its debut alongside them is the Chef’s Signature Set, featuring freshly steamed dim sum, Cantonese-style barbecue, premium meats, seasonal seafood, handmade noodles, fresh fruit and aromatic Chinese tea. Every detail is meticulously crafted to embody the spirit of hot pot dining: warmth, sharing and celebration.
“Golden Week and the Mid-Autumn Festival are among the most treasured times for family reunions and cultural festivities,” said Vincent Guironnet, General Manager. “Since its opening in 2021, Bai Yun has become a favourite destination for hot pot, attracting guests from Indonesia, across Asia and beyond. Its consistent recognition among TripAdvisor’s top Chinese dining experiences in Bali inspires us to continue innovating and creating new menus, ensuring our guests always have something exciting to look forward to.”
Adding his perspective, Chef Ho Weng Kit, Executive Sous Chef of Bai Yun, shared: “As a Malaysian chef who has worked across Asia, it is my wish to make this Golden Week and Mid-Autumn Festival feel like coming home. Our Hot Pot Festival celebrates the comforting flavours I grew up with, allowing everyone to experience the warmth and richness of Asian cuisine together.”
Since its opening, Bai Yun—meaning white cloud in Chinese—has established itself as Bali’s leading hot pot destination, renowned for its premium ingredients, inventive flavours and attentive service. With the Hot Pot Festival, the restaurant once again blends authentic Chinese traditions with Balinese warmth, offering guests a truly memorable way to mark the season.
