In an annual gesture of appreciation for the tireless work and dedication of its staff, the People and Culture Department (Human Resources) of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort hosted a spectacular two-week internal event celebrating fun, fitness, and camaraderie.
Held from the 13th – the 24th of October 2025, the event transformed appreciation into spirited competition and enthusiastic participation. Staff from all departments — including Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Finance, People & Culture, and Security — set aside their daily duties to compete in a diverse range of tournaments, fostering teamwork and healthy competition across the organisation.
The activities included sports tournaments in badminton, futsal, basketball, table tennis, and billiards, along with a fun Esports Tournament of the popular mobile game Mobile Legends. The winners of each sports tournament received IDR 3,000,000 for first place, IDR 2,000,000 for second place, and IDR 1,000,000 for third place. The overall champion team that accumulated the most points across all sports segments went to the Food & Beverage department, which received a grand prize of IDR 5,000,000 in cash and a trophy.
The celebration culminated on Friday, the 24th of October 2025, with an exhilarating closing ceremony held at the picturesque Gamelan Garden. The evening began at 4:30 p.m. with an energetic Zumba session led by Zin Ayol, ensuring everyone got moving before the main event. The festivities continued with a vibrant atmosphere set by special guest DJ Berlin Bintang, who brought the event to a high-energy close, celebrating both the participants and the success of the two-week programme.
