Partnership highlights Bethsaida Healthcare’s integrated sports medicine, injury management, rehabilitation and recovery services for athletes competing at FIP Bronze Banten 2026.
Bethsaida Hospital Gading Serpong and Seraphim Medical Center have officially been appointed as the Official Medical Partner for FIP Bronze Banten 2026, the first international padel tournament to be held in Banten. Taking place from the 14th to the 19th of July 2026, the event forms part of the international competition calendar organised by the International Padel Federation (FIP).
Through its involvement, Bethsaida Healthcare is not only providing comprehensive medical support throughout the tournament but also showcasing its integrated sports medicine and rehabilitation services. This support covers performance enhancement, injury prevention and treatment, medical and surgical care where required, recovery programmes, and return-to-sport guidance to help athletes resume competition safely.
Throughout the tournament, Bethsaida Healthcare has deployed doctors and medical teams on standby to provide initial assessments and treatment for injuries or other medical concerns. Participants also have access to physiotherapy, sports massage, health screenings, and fitness services tailored to their individual needs.
Through its Medical Gym facilities, participants and members of the active community can undergo physical assessments and follow structured exercise programmes designed to improve strength, stability, mobility, endurance, and sporting performance. These services are supported by personalised physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise programmes based on each individual’s condition and goals.
To further support recovery, Seraphim Medical Center also offers services including whole-body cryotherapy, sauna sessions, and sports massage. These treatments form part of a comprehensive recovery programme designed to help the body recover after training and competition.
dr. Nahum, Dipl. CIBTAC, Sp.KO, Sports Medicine Specialist at Seraphim Medical Center, explained that optimal performance should be built through structured and measurable programmes rather than simply increasing training intensity.
“In sports such as padel, the body is required to move quickly, rotate, stop suddenly, and change direction repeatedly. Therefore, athletes need proper physical assessments, appropriate training programmes, effective recovery strategies, and continuous monitoring to maintain performance while reducing the risk of injury,” said dr. Nahum.

According to him, sports medicine also plays an important role in the return-to-sport process by providing gradual support following an injury, ensuring that individuals are not only free from pain but also regain the strength, movement, body control, and physical readiness needed to return to sport safely.
Meanwhile, dr. Herryanto Agustriadi Simanjuntak, M.H.Kes., Sp.OT, Subsp. CO, Orthopaedic and Traumatology Specialist with a subspecialty in Sports Injuries at Bethsaida Hospital Gading Serpong, highlighted the importance of accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment for injuries affecting the muscles, joints, ligaments, bones, and spine.
“Sports injuries vary in severity. Many can be managed conservatively through medication, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation. However, in certain cases, surgery may be required to repair damaged structures and restore the patient’s mobility and function,” explained dr. Herryanto.
Bethsaida Hospital Gading Serpong is supported by comprehensive orthopaedic and traumatology services, diagnostic examinations, surgical procedures, and post-operative medical rehabilitation. Once the healing and functional recovery phases have been completed, patients can continue their programme at Seraphim Medical Center to rebuild fitness, improve performance, and prepare for a safe return to sport.
Through the collaboration between Bethsaida Hospital Gading Serpong and Seraphim Medical Center, Bethsaida Healthcare provides a seamless continuum of care, covering performance assessment, injury prevention, diagnosis, surgery, medical rehabilitation, recovery, and return-to-sport programmes.
Its role as the Official Medical Partner for FIP Bronze Banten 2026 reflects Bethsaida Healthcare’s commitment to supporting the development of sport through comprehensive, professional healthcare services focused on performance enhancement and long-term recovery.
