Gaia Music Festival 2026 Continues “Music for All” Celebration with Diverse Collaborations on Day Two

After successfully opening the festival with a vibrant range of musical genres on its first day, Gaia Music Festival (GMF) 2026 once again offered a warm and intimate musical experience at The Gaia Hotel Bandung Amphitheatre.

Entering its second day on Saturday, 15th of August 2026, Gaia Music Festival 2026 continued the spirit of “Music for All” through performances by Karimata feat. Tiara Effendy, Adikara, GIGI Jazz Project, Love Is, as well as Bass G Feat Song Brothers on the Endless Stage.

The second day took audiences on a musical journey featuring different characteristics while remaining rooted in the same spirit: providing space for a variety of musical styles and creating an experience that could be enjoyed by audiences from all backgrounds.

One of the highlights of the second day was the performance by Karimata feat. Tiara Effendy. The collaboration presented a rich musical blend, bringing together Karimata’s experience as one of the prominent names in Indonesia’s jazz and fusion scene with Tiara Effendy’s distinctive vocal character.

“We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Gaia Music Festival 2026, especially the warm response from the audience. For me, this was my first time performing here, and we hope the songs performed by Karimata could provide entertainment and leave a pleasant impression on the audience. Hopefully, we can return and share our music at Gaia Music Festival on another occasion,” said Chandra Darusman of Karimata.

The collaboration was one of the moments that demonstrated how music can continue to evolve through encounters between different generations and musical identities. This spirit continued with a performance by Adikara, who brought his own distinctive character to GMF 2026’s musical journey.

The arrival of GIGI Jazz Project then brought a jazz-infused musical exploration to the second day’s programme. The combination of a widely recognised musical character with a more exploratory approach was one of the highlights that showcased the diversity of GMF’s concept this year.

Armand Maulana, frontman of GIGI, said, “We selected the GIGI Jazz Project setlist together, choosing GIGI songs that would be interesting to perform with a jazz approach. We wanted to offer a different musical experience while retaining GIGI’s character, so that the performance could be enjoyed and, hopefully, leave an impression on the audience.”

Meanwhile, Love Is rounded out the second day’s line-up with a musical character that created a different atmosphere. The presence of these performers made the musical journey at GMF 2026 feel dynamic—from jazz and fusion to pop and various musical explorations—giving audiences the opportunity to discover their own favourite experiences.

Not only on the main stage, the Endless Stage once again became an integral part of the Gaia Music Festival experience. After performing since the first day, Bass G Feat Song Brothers continued their performance on this alternative stage for two consecutive days. With a more relaxed and interactive concept, the Endless Stage provided a space for audiences to enjoy music in a more intimate setting, accompanied by the distinctive natural scenery of The Gaia Hotel Bandung.

The presence of two stages with different characteristics was one of the elements that made GMF 2026 feel more personal. Audiences could enjoy the main performances at the amphitheatre as well as the more laid-back atmosphere of the Endless Stage, making music part of the overall experience at The Gaia Hotel Bandung.

With its “Music for All” theme, Gaia Music Festival 2026 once again affirmed that music can serve as a meeting point for everyone. It is not only about the artists performing, but also about how music creates interaction, evokes memories and brings people together in one space.

With the conclusion of the second day, Gaia Music Festival 2026 once again demonstrated its strength as a festival that brings together music, nature and togetherness. “Music for All” was not merely a theme, but a tangible experience in which every audience member had the freedom to enjoy music in their own way.
