Art Jakarta Fair 2019 Officially Unveiled in JCC

Art Jakarta Fair

The annual contemporary Art Jakarta Fair was officially opened on 30th August 2019.

This year, the fair is being held in hall A and B of the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) until Sunday 1st September.

Director of Art Jakarta, Tom Tandio, said that this year they will display more artworks than in previous years. They are featuring 70 galleries, of which 40 are international, and 30 are local ones.

“The galleries are excited. Last year, our space was limited, but now our space is comfortable. They really appreciate it and they told me they want to join the next Art Jakarta,” Tom said. In previous years, the art exhibition was held in Pacific Place.

This year, the fair is collaborating with different parties from the Indonesian and Southeast Asian art scenes. A number of programmes will be featured, namely Art Jakarta Spot, Charity, Scene, Talk and Play. The Art Jakarta fair also provides art workshops and classes for children.
