After a six-year hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event is making a much-anticipated comeback in 2025.
This year’s Texas Scramble tournament is open to golfers of all levels (ladies and gents), featuring fun challenges such as Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Best Dressed, and Beat the Pro.
Once a cherished gathering in Jakarta, the tournament promises a fun-filled day for everyone – golfers and supporters alike – coming together to raise funds for the breast cancer charity Lovepink Indonesia (www.lovepinkindonesia.org).
Lovepink Indonesia is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and promoting early detection. It has helped countless patients courageously navigate their journeys with breast cancer. Lovepink’s message is that women are not victims of breast cancer – they are warriors and survivors.
“This is a cause that is dear to our hearts as breast cancer has touched so many of us, and it gives us immense pride that our efforts this year are once again directed towards raising funds to provide greater access for underprivileged women to receive breast ultrasound screenings and to educate more women about early detection,” said Janice McGregor, Going Pink Golf Chairwoman.
Golfers will start the day with a light breakfast at 9 AM, enjoy snacks and drinks around the course, and conclude with a prize-giving dinner and BBQ at the end of the day.
