Promoting environmental awareness and community engagement through green effort.
Fraser Residence Sudirman Jakarta, a premier serviced residence under PT Hung Kuang International Hospitality, has announced its latest sustainability initiative through a mangrove planting programme. This effort underscores the property’s dedication to environmental preservation while creating a positive impact within the local community.
The mangrove planting activity, held at Ecotourism Mangrove PIK, brought together associates, management, and local partners to actively contribute to coastal restoration. Mangroves play a vital role in combating climate change, protecting shorelines, and supporting biodiversity — aligning closely with Fraser Residence Sudirman Jakarta’s commitment to responsible hospitality.

Wita Junifah, General Manager of Fraser Residence Sudirman Jakarta, shared, “For us, sustainability goes beyond day-to-day operations — it is about making conscious decisions that create lasting benefits for the environment, our community, and future generations. This is not just a one-off project, but part of our long-term journey to embed environmental and social responsibility into how we operate and serve our guests. Through this mangrove initiative, we are not only helping to safeguard the environment but also inspiring our team and community to take part in building a greener future together.”
This initiative forms part of PT Hung Kuang International Hospitality’s wider Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, which emphasises reducing environmental impact, supporting local communities, and promoting sustainable practices across its properties.
By engaging in hands-on activities such as mangrove planting, Fraser Residence Sudirman Jakarta reaffirms its commitment to long-term ecological balance and demonstrates how the hospitality industry can play a meaningful role in environmental conservation.
