Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins Jr.” was performed at Global Jaya School Theatre from the 14th to the 15th of February 2025.

This 90-minute musical show, designed for middle school-aged performers, was based on the classic P.L. Travers stories and the Walt Disney film. The theatre show was performed by 34 students from the Primary and Secondary Schools, led by the Arts Department of Global Jaya School.

As the director of this delightful production, I am proud to showcase the talent and creativity of our students as they bring the world of Mary Poppins to life. Mary Poppins Jr. is more than just a musical; it’s a celebration of imagination, kindness, and the bonds that bring us together,” said Mrs. Muti, Director of Mary Poppins Jr.’s Musical Drama Production.

All of London is shouting from the rooftops about his exciting stage adaptation of the classic tales of Mary Poppins. Adapted especially for your performers, this musical drama included the favourite Sherman brothers songs, such as A Spoonful of SugarFeed the Birds, and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, as well as wonderful new songs by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. With colourful characters and an irresistible score, the Mary Poppins Jr. show was loved by all ages.
