Bekasi Family Murdered, Police Looking for Multiple Suspects

The police are looking for more than one suspect in an investigation of a murder of an entire family in Bekasi, West Java.

“Yes, [the suspects] are more than one person,” Bekasi City Police chief Sr. Comr. Indarto said on Wednesday, as reported by tempo.co.

“Our team has found a clue, hopefully we can soon reveal who the suspects are,” he added.

On Tuesday, a husband and wife Diperum Nainggolan, 38, and Maya Boru Ambarita, 37, as well as their two children Sarah Boru Nainggolan, 9, and Arya Nainggolan, 7, were found dead at 6.30 a.m. at their house on Jl. Bojong Nangka in Jatirahayu.

Jakarta Police and Bekasi City Police have set up a joint task force to investigate the case. Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said that the police had questioned up to 12 eyewitnesses.

“Two people have been [recorded] in the investigation report [BAP],” Argo said.

The bodies of the family will be buried in Samosir, North Sumatra.
