Umana Bali, an LXR Hotels & Resorts property, recently celebrated its first anniversary with an extraordinary three-day event.
Located on Bali’s southern tip, Umana Bali has quickly established itself as a premier luxury destination, renowned for its captivating experiences, world-class dining, and meticulously curated activities.
A Weekend of Celebration
From the 15th to the 17th of November, Umana Bali hosted an exclusive celebration spanning three days and two nights, filled with epicurean delights, artistic showcases, and wellness offerings. Guests, including honoured partners and media friends, indulged in a variety of experiences, from a culinary journey led by renowned chefs to a fashion showcase and immersive wellness activities.
The festivities kicked off with a welcome dinner at the resort’s Uma Beach House, embracing elemental Balinese themes through its décor, cuisine, and entertainment. The evening featured a mesmerising fire and dance performance by Bala Bali and a live show by Angela July, creating a magical atmosphere to set the tone for the weekend.
The highlight of the celebration took place on the second evening, featuring performances by an illuminated violinist, roving entertainers, water acrobatics, and a breathtaking aerial act. The night was graced by star performers, including Alessandro De Angelis and Bunga Citra Lestari. Celebrity chefs Arnold Poernomo and Reynold Poernomo took over the kitchen at Commune Restaurant, presenting a specially curated three-course menu blending local and international flavours, complemented by Balinese food stations.
Curated Island Experiences
Throughout the weekend, guests were invited to immerse themselves in Bali’s vibrant culture through curated experiences celebrating the island’s rich heritage. Umana Bali collaborated with renowned local artisans and brands to offer unique activities, including ceramics workshops with Kevala Ceramics, a luxury pop-up store by Votum by Sebastian Gunawan, and jewellery-making sessions with Clemence Jewelry.
To further enrich the experience, the resort introduced new wellness and cultural activities, which will continue to be available for guests. Mornings now begin with rejuvenating yoga sessions led by professional instructors, followed by unique experiences such as Indonesian coffee tasting, Balinese cooking classes, Balinese wine tastings, and special arak tasting sessions.
“We are delighted to celebrate this milestone and reflect on Umana Bali’s incredible journey over the past year,” said Serpil Guney, General Manager of Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts. “Our vision was to create a destination that seamlessly combines luxury and authenticity, and it is heartening to see that vision come to life with the support of our partners and dedicated team.”
