Blue Bird Adds New Feature to its Mobile App

Indonesia’s largest taxi brand recently launched the new Easy Ride feature as a means to maximize user experience.

The latest addition was followed by Blue Bird’s decision to revamp its mobile app and add more features. Easy Ride was created to facilitate customers’ paying options, in which now they can choose to pay the drivers with or without cash. The new feature is available for customers living in Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang, Medan, Bali and Lombok.

The director of Blue Bird, Sigit Priawan Djokosoetono, hopes that Easy Ride will help customers get a taxi and improve their driving experience.

“One of the advantages of Blue Bird taxi is that it is so easy to obtain one from shopping malls, hotels, airports, and even on the street. Through the Easy Ride feature, customers can take the taxi practically from anywhere and pay using My Blue Bird app. Customers have an option to pay cashless and it accommodates their dynamic needs,” the director said in a press statement.

The arrival of Easy Ride is another testament to Blue Bird’s dedication to cater to customers needs, as well as understanding the ever-changing digital interactions among the community.

The taxi empire also continues to make sure that the features designed are well adjusted to the customer’s preferences, such as hiding their phone numbers from the drivers’ devices.

“Thus, drivers won’t have access customer’s mobile number, this is all for the sake of customer’s privacy. Aside from that, My Blue Bird App also allows customers to pre-book the taxi, for example for tomorrow morning ride to the airport,” Dokosoetono added.
