Strengthening Its Position as an Integrated Medical Wellness Centre, Seraphim Medical Center Introduces Indonesia’s First International-Standard Brain and Sleep Health Service

The lifestyles of Indonesia’s urban population today are often characterised by insufficient sleep, excessive gadget use, and high levels of work-related stress. If left unchecked over time, these habits can have a significant impact on brain health, ranging from reduced concentration and memory, easy fatigue and mood disturbances to an increased risk of cognitive decline later in life.

In response to these needs, Seraphim Medical Center, a business unit of Bethsaida Healthcare focusing on wellness services and long-term quality of life, has officially introduced the Brain Wellness & Sleep Center, an international-standard brain health and sleep quality optimisation service integrated within a single centre.

The Brain Wellness & Sleep Center addresses a range of concerns increasingly experienced by the public, including insomnia and other sleep disorders, brain fog, forgetfulness and difficulty concentrating, chronic fatigue caused by stress, impaired motor function, as well as the risk of cognitive decline and dementia among both working-age and older adults.

Each client undergoes a series of examinations to develop a brain health programme specifically designed and tailored to their individual needs and condition.

A number of evidence-based examination and therapy technologies are available through the service. qEEG Brain Mapping is used to map brainwave activity and detect early patterns associated with sleep disorders, stress, and the risk of cognitive decline.

Neurofeedback trains the brain to improve imbalanced brainwave patterns in order to enhance focus, sleep quality, and emotional regulation. Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) is a non-invasive ultrasound-based technology used as part of a supportive approach to promoting brain cognitive function.

KINESIQ objectively assesses motor function, as motor impairments are often closely associated with neurological conditions and an individual’s sleep quality. Meanwhile, Biophoton is used as a light-based supportive therapy to promote energy balance and overall recovery.

The service is supported by a team of competent doctors and medical professionals holding a number of internationally recognised specialist certifications, including dr. Febby Astari, IFMCP, who holds certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine in the United States; dr. Oktaviana Niken P., Sp.N., DAIFIDN., MMRS., FNR., AIFO-K., a Neurologist and Neurorestoration Fellow; and dr. Raymond Posuma, Sp.KFR, MS(K), FIPM (USG), a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist who also holds the international Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice certification.

As a healthcare centre that integrates modern medical approaches with evidence-based wellness programmes, Seraphim Medical Center has become one of Indonesia’s leading destinations for integrated healthcare and wellness services, while also attracting patients from overseas.

This recognition was further strengthened by Seraphim receiving the Integrated Medical Wellness of the Year award at the Road To CNBC Indonesia Awards 2026. As part of the Bethsaida Healthcare ecosystem, the establishment of the Brain Wellness & Sleep Center further strengthens Seraphim’s position as an international-standard integrated health and wellness centre in Indonesia.

Iwan A. Setiawan, Director of Sales, Marketing & Business Development at Bethsaida Healthcare, said, “Brain Wellness & Sleep Center is our strategic step towards providing integrated, international-standard brain and sleep health services, while further strengthening Seraphim’s position as a preferred health and wellness destination for both domestic and international communities,” he said.

Echoing this, dr. Febby Astari, IFMCP, added, “Each programme at the Brain Wellness & Sleep Center is personally designed based on the results of each client’s examinations, ensuring that the treatment provided is truly aligned with the individual’s brain health and sleep needs and condition,” she explained.

dr. Oktaviana Niken P., Sp.N., DAIFIDN., MMRS., FNR., AIFO-K., added, “Sleep is not merely a period of rest, but an important process for the brain to repair nerve cells and strengthen memory. Early detection through examinations such as qEEG is highly helpful in determining the appropriate treatment,” she said.

Meanwhile, dr. Raymond Posuma, Sp.KFR, MS(K), FIPM (USG), explained, “KINESIQ helps us objectively assess a client’s motor function, as motor impairments are often closely associated with neurological conditions and an individual’s sleep quality,” he explained.

With the establishment of the Brain Wellness & Sleep Center, Seraphim Medical Center hopes to become a trusted reference for people seeking to maintain their brain health and sleep quality comprehensively, while further strengthening Seraphim and Bethsaida Healthcare’s position in providing integrated preventive healthcare solutions.
