Lapathon 3.0 Powered by Cross Hotels & Resorts

Cross Hotels & Resorts proudly powered Lapathon 3.0, an inspiring community event held at Berawa Field from the 21st to the 22nd of September 2024, aimed at raising both awareness and funds for mental health programmes in Indonesia.

This year’s Lapathon 3.0 saw active participation from the Cross Hotels & Resorts team, led by Indonesia Country Manager, Evan Burns. Together, they made an exceptional effort to support the cause, demonstrating the group’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and wellness within the communities it serves.

Now in its third year, Lapathon has grown to become a signature event, bringing together local businesses, international brands, and individuals to unite for a common cause—supporting mental health initiatives. Cross Hotels & Resorts, as a driving force behind the event, not only powered its organisation but also played an active role in its execution, with the team covering an impressive 900 kilometres throughout the 24-hour event.

Leading by example, Evan Burns completed an impressive 47 kilometres in 13 hours, symbolising his personal dedication to both the event and the cause. Speaking after the event, Evan commented, “Lapathon 3.0 represents more than just physical endurance—it’s a statement of resilience in the face of mental health challenges. I’m proud to stand with our team and the community, working together to raise awareness and support for mental health programmes across Indonesia.”

A total of 120 participants from Cross Hotels & Resorts joined the Lapathon, including team members from properties throughout the Bali region. Their collective effort was a testament to the company’s culture of collaboration and engagement. From senior leadership to hotel staff, the team embodied Cross Hotels & Resorts’ core values of unity, well-being, and community outreach, pushing their limits to make a meaningful contribution.

With Lapathon 3.0 powered by Cross Hotels & Resorts successfully raising awareness for mental health initiatives, the company is already looking forward to next year’s event. “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished with Lapathon 3.0, and we’re committed to continuing our support for this cause,” said Evan. “We invite everyone to join us in 2025 as we continue to advocate for mental health awareness and support across Indonesia.”
