PESENGGIRI FESTIVAL 2026 WILL RETURN TO LAMPUNG

PESENGGIRI FESTIVAL 2026 WILL RETURN TO LAMPUNG

Bringing the “Spice, Heritage & Harmony” Concept to Lampung Marriott Resort & Spa.

Lampung — Following the success of the previous year’s event, the Pesenggiri Festival 2026 is officially announced to return from July 3–5, 2026, at the Lampung Marriott Resort & Spa, Teluk Pandan, Pesawaran. This year, the festival carries the “Spice, Heritage & Harmony” concept — a three-day celebration honouring the Indonesian archipelago’s spice heritage, Lampung’s cultural richness, and the spirit of community harmony through the Pi’il Pesenggiri philosophy.

PESENGGIRI FESTIVAL 2026 WILL RETURN TO LAMPUNGOrganised by the Kanvas Satu Bumi Foundation, the Pesenggiri Festival 2026 is designed as a collaborative space blending performing arts, cultural education, culinary arts, and the empowerment of local MSMEs. The Spice, Heritage & Harmony concept revives the memory of Lampung as one of the hearts of the global spice trade route, while simultaneously celebrating the noble values of the Lampung people embedded in Pi’il Pesenggiri: honour, openness, hospitality, and togetherness.

PESENGGIRI FESTIVAL 2026

“Pesenggiri is not just a festival, but a cultural celebration. This year, we want to present Lampung as a meeting point between spice heritage, traditional arts, and the younger generation ready to carry them forward, to remind each other of the history and journey of our ancestors, and how rich Lampung is as a part of Sumatra. Through this festival, we hope that the youth, industry players, F&B practitioners, and the tourism sector will build Lampung as a destination together. That is the spirit we want to celebrate together,” said Selphie Bong, Co-Founder of the Pesenggiri Festival.

Over the three days, the festival will present a series of programs, including:

• The Pesenggiri Swarnadwipa performance, featuring Lampung dance and arts performances by local students and university scholars.
Masterclasses on spices, culture-based creativity, and MSME capacity building, led by renowned mentors.
• The Temu Rasa & Rupa Market, showcasing culinary products, handicrafts, and signature spice preparations from Lampung and Sumatra.
Brand collaborations with leading Indonesian brands that celebrate the archipelago’s craftsmanship and aesthetics.
A culture-based food festival where proud, renowned Indonesian chefs will gather to host culinary classes and offer special menus during the festival.
The Dapur Kawan Community, inviting Lampung’s F&B practitioners to concoct signature menus made from traditional spices for the Pesenggiri Festival 2026 — telling stories through taste.

PESENGGIRI FESTIVAL 2026 Situated on an 8-hectare beachfront property, the Lampung Marriott Resort & Spa serves as the perfect backdrop for this cultural gathering. The festival is expected to welcome over 1,500 curated guests — ranging from creative industry players and art collectors to the younger generation — and reach an audience of more than 5,000,000 through social media channels and national media partners.

The Pesenggiri Festival 2026 is open to the public with a limited reservation system. Further information can be accessed through the official Instagram accounts @pesenggiri and @thehurunlampung.
