Malindo Air Launches Sydney-Bali Route

Malaysia-based airline Malindo Air has officially launched a new route which connects Sydney, Australia, and Denpasar, Bali.

The first flight departed today from Sydney Airport at 12.40pm local time, and landed in I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 05.28pm local time. The service, which employs the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, will be available seven times a week. The return flight from Bali is set to take place at 10.35pm local time.

According to PT Angkasa Pura I’s general manager for Ngurah Rai Airport, Herry AY Sikado, Malindo Air will give more options for Australian tourists traveling to Bali as prior to this. Before the launch of the new flight schedule, only four airlines served the Sydney-Bali route. Earlier, the Indonesian ministry of tourism expressed its intention to attract 1.5 million Australian tourists in 2019.
