Starting June 14, 2018, Emirates will have a new daily service from Dubai to Auckland via the island of Bali, Indonesia.
The new Dubai-Bali-Auckland flight will provide the only non-stop daily service between Auckland and Bali available all year. The airline will operate a Boeing 777-300ER on the route, offering eight seats in First, 42 seats in Business, and 304 seats in Economy class, as well as 20 tonnes of belly-hold cargo capacity.
The new service will now give travellers a choice of three daily services between Dubai and Bali. Currently, there are only two existing daily services between the two destinations.
Emirates airline president Sir Tim Clark said the airline was pleased to “introduce additional capacity to serve the strong demand for travel to Bali, and to Auckland”.
“We are confident that our year-round service between Auckland and Bali will be well received by our customers, not only in New Zealand and Indonesia, but also from our global network particularly from markets like the UK, Europe and the Middle East,” Sir Tim Clark said.
The new Bali-bound flight will depart Dubai at 6.55am and arrive at 8.20pm local time, before taking off to Auckland at 10pm and arriving at 10am the following day.
Heading back the other way, the service will leave Auckland at 12.40pm, arrive in Bali at 5.55pm local time, departing at 7.50pm, and arriving in Dubai at 12.45am.
The departure and arrival times of the new route will provide good connections to and from Europe on the extensive Emirates and flydubai partnership network, which will add to Bali’s global connectivity.
