A total of 104 officers from the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration were deployed for the Dharma Dewata Patrol on Wednesday, 15th of July.
This activity is part of the implementation of the Dharma Dewata Patrol Task Force, which was officially inaugurated on the 15th of April 2026. The task force was established to conduct routine monitoring and early detection of potential immigration violations across the Bali region. In its operations, the task force does not work independently but in synergy with the Foreigners Monitoring Team (Tim Pengawasan Orang Asing or Timpora) and other relevant law enforcement agencies.
During the patrol on Wednesday, the officers also visited business operators and tourist accommodation managers to provide direct education on the obligation to report the presence of foreigners through the Aplikasi Pelaporan Orang Asing (APOA).
“I truly appreciate the support from all Timpora members in Bali. Intensive collaboration and information exchange have proven effective in uncovering various immigration issues more quickly and accurately,” the Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, said in a statement to the press on Thursday, the 16th of July.
To date, the Dharma Dewata Patrol officers have apprehended 342 foreigners from 60 countries suspected of committing administrative violations in Bali. While carrying out field operations, the officers were also supported by an integrated digital data system to facilitate a more efficient document validation process.
Regarding enforcement procedures, Ratna instructed her staff to maintain integrity and adhere to applicable operational standards.
“In every operation, I emphasise that all personnel work professionally and avoid abuse of authority. Conduct supervision humanely, while remaining firm and measured, in accordance with applicable laws,” she continued.
Furthermore, Ratna urged the public in Bali to actively participate in monitoring efforts by reporting any indications of violations committed by foreigners through the available official channels.
“If you encounter a foreigner disrupting public order or any indication of breaking the law, please report it to the nearest immigration office. This aligns with the spirit of ‘Immigration for the People’, where we stand alongside the community to safeguard the sovereignty and peace of our shared environment,” she concluded.
