For more than two decades, Java Festival Production has consistently staged music festivals that bring together international and Indonesian musicians while strengthening the national creative ecosystem. The International Java Jazz Festival has grown into the largest jazz music festival in Southeast Asia and the Southern Hemisphere and is now positioned not only as an entertainment event but also as a cultural institution that carries Indonesia’s name onto the global stage.
myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026: A New Concept with a Renewed Spirit
Entering its 21st year, myBCA International Java Jazz Festival opens a new chapter that marks a major transformation in the festival’s journey. This year, the festival is presented under a new concept and name — myBCA International Java Jazz Festival — and will take place at a new venue known as NICE, PIK 2, Tangerang, from the 29th to the 31st of May 2026. This change delivers a world-class festival experience with broader space for artistic exploration and improved access for music lovers from around the world. This new chapter reflects Java Festival Production’s commitment to remain relevant, innovative, and globally oriented.

From Grammy Award-Winning International Artists to Indonesian Music Legends Set to Energise myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026
As an opening highlight leading up to this year’s event, myBCA International Java Jazz Festival has announced the first phase of its artist line-up. Renowned musician and eight-time Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste will take the stage for a special show on Friday, the 29th of May 2026, delivering an energetic blend of classic jazz with modern influences. Another special show will feature wave to earth, a South Korean band known for its lo-fi indie pop, jazz, and R&B sound, performing on Saturday, 30 May 2026. The first phase is further enriched by an impressive roster of international artists, including Dave Koz & Summer Horns, Lisa Simone, Thee Sacred Souls, Close Counters, Billyrrom, Niko Niko Tan Tan, Citrus Sun, Justin Lee Schultz, JustKing Jones, and Yufu, as well as legendary acts such as Earth, Wind & Fire by Al McKay and Incognito. From Indonesia, Slank, RAN, Bilal Indrajaya, and Ziva Magnolya will join the line-up, reinforcing the Java Jazz Festival’s spirit as a cross-generational stage. More artists and performances will be unveiled in due course.
